Our Story

Founded in 2018, Aqualille is rooted in a passion for historical art forms and modern interiors. We set out to create a line of wallpapers that enrich contemporary spaces, elevate the everyday and are a breeze to order.

From the Edo-era Japanese art to Deco Hollywood murals to Grand Teton galleries, our inspiration spans centuries and the globe. Moved by a distinctive alchemy of historical influence and contemporary flair, we're intent on creating walls that take your breath away.

Meet the Team

Aqualille Creative Director Gwendolyn Rayner brings more than a decade of experience with world-renowned auction houses and a leading hand-painted wallcovering brand. Her vast knowledge of decorative arts is matched only by her determination to do it all better. She is joined by Arabella, her sprightly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and unofficial chief of staff.
